  1. it’s been a long time..

    here’s what i’ve prepared for the SC campaign period last year.. BUT.. i didn’t used it naman.. i just saw it while i was cleaning my disk and boom!! i had a thought to blog about it..hihihi!!! LOL!! =]]]

    Good morning to all of you dear schoolmates! I’m Paula Mae dela Cruz from IV- Amorsolo running for the position of president in the highest governing body here in high school department—SC, Student Council.

    Let me share to you my little story. When I was in grade school, syempre dito sa diliman… dekada na yata ako ditto no.. So when i was in grde 4.. they usually tease me “feeling leader”! o dba? feeling leader daw ako. It’s because even I’m not the one who was appointed as leader, I initiate to look after my groupmates and share my ideas as welll. By the time that they told me that I feel like I’m the leader of the group, i felt really really bad because all I wanted is to contribute and help them..  noon kasi hindi napapnsin ung mga hindi matatalino. I was just a simple, non-honor student who belongs in the star section. Of course, those high ranking students were the leaders because they’re witty. And so, my biggest break as a leader was when I was in first year high school. I never thought that I have that what they called leadership capabilities. I never became the class president that I usually dreamt of when I was in grade school. But then again, I just felt that I must move on to that “feeling leader” name that they gave me when I was in grade school. I started to lead section belardo. And since then, I was known to be a good leader. More leadership position went through and so more trials came.. ifugao president, sophomores org president, magbanua president, juniors org president..and so on.. I once ran for SC and I won but I decided not to run again last year because I want to test my academic skills. That decision was one thing I regret. I should have improve myself in this area. Who’s afraid of responsibility? I was once afraid of responsibility. After series of losses in competitions, I blamed myself and my incapacity to get things done right. I questioned myself, “am I irresponsible?” But see, being responsible doesn’t mean you have to take all the responsibilities. Those trials that I’ve went through, I’ve learned from them..that’s why I’m here in front of you. I’m asking you to trust me. I may not be a perfect leader but I can assure you that I will be responsible enough to take the position! Once again, paula dela cruz for president. Vote straight! Vote kinse!:]]
